Dr. Waddell is accepting new clients in Maryland.

LaTonya Waddell is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, an Acupuncturist with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine and a certified Addiction Detox Specialist. She received her Doctorate and Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health with over 3,000 didactic and clinical hours over the course of 4+ years. Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture Theory, LaTonya specializes in pain management.  

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Information System Management, she has over 20 years of experience working in these fields. However, after suffering from low back pain for years, she sought pain management treatment with Acupuncture at the recommendation of her primary care doctor. It was “love at first encounter”! She experienced immediate relief and knew that she had to learn… and share the wonders of this medicine.

LaTonya is extremely passionate about Chinese Medicine and views it as an integral addition to our modern healthcare system. Her goal is to guide patients gently towards realigning imbalances and bringing a sense of well-being, wholeness, and openness into life.

Ms. Brown is accepting psychotherapy clients in Maryland and New York, as well as life coaching clients globally.

S. Tia Brown is a licensed therapist and lifestyle expert who uses solutions-based therapy to help individuals develop practical life skills and treatment plans to enhance their quality of life. 

After spending more than a decade addressing issues ranging from relationship and mental health stressors to budgeting and personal finance woes, Tia knows what helps clients develop the skills needed to make healthy choices and improve their overall quality of life mentally, financially and exponentially. 

Tia has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets around the world, including CNN, MSNBC E!, VH1, Fox and was a recurring relationship expert on The Bill Cunningham Show. She's a former correspondent on The Dr. Oz Show and Lifestyle Director at EBONY magazine.

Tia holds B.A from Howard University, a Masters of Science from Columbia University's School of Journalism, and a Masters of Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social Work. She is a licensed therapist in New York and Maryland.

Ms. Escobar is accepting new clients in Maryland.

Diana Escobar is a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a concentration in Behavioral Health. Diana has over two years of direct experience in social work and ten years of experience working in various social work settings.

Diana has experience working with people suffering from severe mental illness, domestic violence/ sexual assault, trauma, depression, and anxiety, including psychoeducation on psychotropic medications. She has provided individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and adults.

She provides emotional support by meeting clients where they are, empathizing with what they are going through, providing quality care services, and working to make sure every client feels comfortable. Diana strives to empower and encourage clients to work on their goals to live a more meaningful life.

Adiat Saba earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the prestigious University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2019, subsequently attaining her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) designation. With a client-centric approach, Ms. Saba skillfully employs strength-based methodologies to facilitate client growth and development.

As a mental health therapist, Ms. Saba has garnered experience across various therapeutic environments, including educational settings where she served as a mental health specialist for children and adolescents. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise to community-based and outpatient contexts. Ms. Saba offers individual psychotherapy and holds proficiency in group therapy dynamics. Her therapeutic scope encompasses a wide array of psychological concerns, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and everyday stressors.

Essence Draper is an alumnus of Howard University and a licensed master social worker. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she traveled to Washington, DC in 2021, where she advanced her education and focused on her passion to help others. As a direct practitioner and mental health professional, Essence has worked with individuals experiencing  severe mental illness (including anxiety and depression),  Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and most recently grief and loss. 
It has been Essence's pleasure to facilitate psychotherapeutic groups as well as individual sessions. In her role as a therapist, she employs a client-centered, integrative therapeutic approach. Essence's main focus is CBT combined with DBT and ACT concepts, explored collaboratively with clients.  By focusing on the journey of the client through exploration and collaboration, Essence is able to maximize client support.

Latonya Rose has a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in English. She is licensed under the Maryland Board of Social Work and practices as a mental health therapist. She engages individuals, couples, and families in psychotherapy to address problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem and relationship challenges, and ongoing stressors.  

In her work with school-aged children, adolescents, and adults, Latonya seeks to help clients uncover their strengths. Also, as a naturally curious individual, she invites clients to investigate and explore their problems utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and a strengths-based approach. Latonya believes that her clients can experience change, and she joins them in a therapeutic alliance of guided discovery and intentional effort towards reaching their goals.

 Ghadh S. Alamro (Ghada)is a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker, fluent in English and Arabic, with a Master's degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. With a background in Applied Medical Science, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her role as a behavioral and mental health clinician. Ghada specializes in working with refugees and asylees from diverse regions, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client's unique needs. She has experience treating various emotional and behavioral diagnoses, including depression, stress management, and crisis intervention. Ghada takes particular interest in working with individuals impacted by abuse and trauma, and she is sensitive to how cultural practices and family dynamics can influence mental health and overall well-being.

Racheal Nolan earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College in 2019 and has since worked with a diverse range of clients throughout Maryland. Her therapeutic approach combines a client-centered focus with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and supportive psychotherapy, all tailored to meet each individual's unique needs. Racheal is dedicated to creating a compassionate and empathetic therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies. Her mission is to help clients become the best versions of themselves.
